We see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since the beginning of our conception, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Volunteer Organisation upon- Community, Collaboration and Cooperation.
PRESIDENT
Sana Mittar
Sana Mittar is a final year student at the University of Warwick. A youth leader, activist, change-maker, and social entrepreneur, she has worked to foster active citizenship through her engagements with organisations such as Instagram, YLAC and the United Nations. She has been awarded the 'Making A Difference in the Community' Award by the University of Warwick, as well as the prestigious Diana Award, for the humanitarian work done by her organisation Global Volunteers Action Network.
HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Debangana Dutta
Debangana is a Master's student in Criminology at Ambedkar University. Her primary research interests include the Psychology of Crime, Gender & Crime, and Crime Analysis. When she is not reading true crime novels and listening to rock music from the 80s, you'll find her exploring Delhi's heritage sites and museums with a camera in hand. She genuinely believes that every moment is a poem if you hold it right.
Ipsa Samaddar
ASSOCIATE
Ipsa is a graduate student with a major in English and a minor in History and Creative Writing. They are a YLAC alumni, and are passionate about gender, queer rights, and mental health. She enjoys reading and browsing cat trivia. When they aren't panicking over a paper, you can find them binge-watching crime shows in her room.
Saishri Bagde

Saishri is a 17 year old gap year student from Hyderabad. She wants to dedicate her entire life to redefining education for our younger generation. If there was a fictional world she'd wanted to live in, She'd happily give up her life as a mortal to become a demigod and tag along on quests with Percy Jackson. 'Science Fiction is some of the best social fiction of our time'. As a science nerd, she couldn't agree more.
Muskan Nayyar

A naturally inquisitive person with an insatiable quest for knowledge, Muskan Nayyar is a class 12 student from Springdales School, New Delhi. An avid reader and budding writer, she has participated in multiple youth leadership programs. She has interned with organisations like Dr Oetker, a German MNC, and CARE India, a leading NGO. Her hobbies include learning German, dancing and dramatics.
Nandini Parishar

A student of politics in Miranda House, Nandini aims to make a career in academia, and is always on the lookout for opportunities to learn the ropes of the field.
She enjoys debating, fan-girling over great thinkers and their theories and working at GVAN!
Priyanka Mukherjee

Priyanka is an aspiring journalist and activist, avid reader and a lover of all-things-arty. A warm cup of tea and binge-reading Harry Potter are her remedy for a perfect day!
Suman Yadav

Suman is currently pursuing Political Science Honours, while seeking the depth of philosophy to get some answers of life. She stays curious as everything excites her, and enjoys living in the moments of exploration. Her ambition is to not only point out the problems but also to be the change.
The paramount thing she wants is to transmute her dream into reality! Perseverance is her mantra!
Jiya Goyal

Jiya Goyal is an undergraduate student, majoring in commerce at LSR. A lover of art, dance and writing, she likes to express herself through various creative mediums.
She always aspires to become the best version of herself and setting great benchmarks for herself. Someone once said 'You shouldn't like things because people tell you you're supposed to' and she is trying to adopt that in her life.

Ria is a seventeen-year-old Commerce Student aspiring to be a social entrepreneur in due course of time. She is passionate about activism which manifests through her art. She can be bribed with vadapavs and cats and dogs make her happy.
Garima Khosla

Garima Khosla is a third year student at Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. She is an exuberant person who loves to communicate with others and is always up for taking challenging tasks. She comes with the experience of social entrepreneurship, commerce and event management. She believes that no day is a good or a bad day but a new day and we always have the capacity to make it a great day.
